CODE
OF GOOD ETHICS, TO OUR CUSTOMERS
Keslick and Son Modern Arboriculture (KSMA) is a family run business. KSMA was established in 1991 with the release of the book MODERN ARBORICULTURE by DR ALEX L. SHIGO. KSMA has had at least, 2 of its professional members participate and teach, in many of the world’s most respected New Tree Biology Workshops. This was in order to best help trees. In time we learned about their associates. Fact: Whether we are watering or pruning a tree, we are altering the chemistry of the tree system (Dr. Alex L. Shigo and Dr. Charles Owens - Portsmouth NH workshops.). Whether KSMA or one of our competitors is chosen to tend to you Tree Chemistry Altering Treatments (TCAT) we will continue to keep on the look out for High Risk of Hazard Trees (HRHTS) on our roads and other places of human activity, and report such risk to the proper authorities. I cannot count the times prior the storms that begun in JUNE changed the playing field, Peco has sent Asplundh out to address HRHTS to both utilities, as well as people on the roads. Often trees that pose a risk to power lines also pose an even more costly risk to the people in the area. Thanks to PECO and Asplundh for doing everything they can to follow the suggestions by the Little Yellow Book, by DR ALEX L. SHIGO, titled –“Pruning Trees Near Utility Lines”. This has been proven to be in the best interest of everyone involved. KSMA also will continue to offer the opportunity for our customers, competitors and teachers to obtain GOOD SOUND DIRECTION when making TCAT decisions, by improving and adding more video’s to our TECHNO TREE BIOLOGY DICTIONARY at www.treedictionary.com.
While many customers do not understand just what Modern Arboriculture is, KSMA thanks them for the opportunity to possibly work and support our family, as well as yours.
We are committed to help every customer understand how they can save money and more realistically obtain their future desired goals when selecting the proper company to do TCAT that will increase, rather than hurt, the health of your trees as well as their associates. One thing we do offer is a suggested list of questions to ask a person who plans to do TCAT to your trees as well as associates.

Watch out for so
called tree experts that do not understand tree biology.
Storms, fires, floods, earthquakes, tornados, volcanic eruptions and other
abiotic forces keep reminding humans that they are not the boss.
